Broke a little promise

Well, I have been a bit lapse with my posting on here. The top of the page says that I was going to write a new post once a week and that had been my aim for 2013. Well, I quickly lost that and that was largely because of the theme of my last post.

As you can see, this little lady takes up quite a bit of my time....

 



This is not to say that I haven't been busy. A few days after Connie came along I got myself a new job. I must say that it was extremely boring but it was a stepping stone to a better job. I have since quit that job and am about to embark on an adventure to China for a new career path. So I guess that I will have to blog about that once I am over there.

Most importantly, in running with the theme of this blog, I have somehow managed to get myself published! Its a short story in an anthology about zombies so it was right up my street. There are some very distinguished authors in the anthology so I am really happy to be included amongst their numbers and along with that, I have made it in to the first volume which is very, very awesome.

So I guess all I can say is watch this space and not only will I put more things in about the book, but I will probably use the blog to put stuff out there about China., That's assuming I can access the blog from over there as I don't know what their relationship with Google is from one day to the next.
